WHO WE ARE....
Shaun Cox
Shaun has been working in the building industry since he was 16 years old. He started working for the family business alongside his Father and Grandfather, originally building tennis courts for the rich and famous throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Shaun then went on to work as a mini piling operative for an Insurance Building Contractor before working his way up to Site Supervisor where he specialised in large flood, fire and subsidence projects - he also had the opportunity to offer his services to the BBC show D.I.Y SOS. He was part of the team who provided an extension for the family on the show!
With his vast experience in the building trade where he has covered many aspects of a building project, you can be sure your building works will be well managed and organised.
Luke Deardon
Luke first started working in the building industry at the age of 16 working alongside his Father on extensions and house renovations. During this time Luke gained valuable experience in all aspects of building works, which included kitchen and bathroom insulation’s, decorating, and carpentry.
He has also worked for subsidence company where he gained 7 years of experience in underpinning, drainage and other aspects in ground works. Luke is always looking to gain more knowledge and qualifications within the building industry so he attended college to become a fully qualified electrician. Rest assured Luke prides himself in completing any task or job, big or small, to the highest standards.

We are so pleased we picked Olympus to do the works we needed on the house. We had a single story extension, internal walls being removed and new kitchen fitted. The guys were great from the first time we met them and throughout the project they were informative, approachable and brilliant with the fact we had a toddler and a dog running around. I could not be more pleased with the outcome, they’ve done such a great job and finished to a beautiful standard
Shaun, Luke and the whole team did a great job on our extension and internal alterations. We encountered some problems along the way but they were quickly resolved and Olympus were always good at communicating with us throughout the build. We will definitely use them again in the future!
Overall the Olympus team were great! We had a double storey extension and we are very happy with the final result and loving our new space. As with any project there were some problems and changes on the way, but Shaun and Luke communicated well and always helpful. Recommended.

We were nervous about undertaking the extension initially but Shaun and the rest of the team put our minds to rest and were always available for any questions or queries we had. Olympus build have been highly professional from the outset. They couldn’t have been more accommodating, making suggestions and recommendations where necessary so that the extension would be everything we could want. Timescales were managed extremely well and knowing what work was being done on which days which was great as we were both working from home. The overall extension has been finished to a really high standard and we are delighted. I cannot recommend Olympus enough a lovely bunch who have done a superb job! We took a lot of time choosing our builder and we are very happy that we chose Olympus Build. From the outset they were very responsive and this continued throughout the build. They stuck to the quote given. Despite the inevitable disruption they maintained a tidy site particularly when doing the internal work – this was really appreciated especially as we have 2 young children.
